My mission is to create art that heals, inspires, and deepens our connection to nature and ourselves. Each piece is rooted in timeless beauty and emotional resonance meant to bring reflection, peace, and quiet joy into your space.
MY STORY
Growing up under the wide skies of North Dakota, art became the lens through which I experienced the world. I can still see the hundreds of lush peonies bushes in my grandmother’s garden, their intoxicating fragrance and delicate, layered petals captured in my earliest sketches, and the graceful branches of the great weeping willow in the backyard, a place that felt like both shelter and wonder. Those afternoons after kindergarten, surrounded by songbirds, fresh air, and the gentle rhythm of nature, quietly shaped the creative soul I carry today.
I've always felt most alive when creating and capturing the world around me with portraits of people I admire, the subtle shifts of landscape light, the elegant flow of calligraphy in quiet moments and using photography to pause a beautiful moment in time. Encouragement from my elementary art teacher was pivotal; she saw a spark in me early on and fueled a belief that my creative calling was worth nurturing. Throughout school, art remained a constant companion, woven alongside my life’s other pursuits. I went on to minor in art alongside a communications degree and then pursued an MBA in marketing, always making time in my life to paint, photograph, sketch, reflect, and create alongside my full-time work as a marketing strategist.
Over the years, my artistic practice and professional life have informed one another in beautiful ways. My background in strategic storytelling and aesthetic presentation gives shape and intention to my creative process: what is this piece meant to communicate? How will it resonate with the viewer? What deeper meaning can it evoke? These questions guide not just my work in business but also the way I approach each canvas.
Today, I am deepening my commitment to art as a central part of my livelihood and legacy, not only as a professional pursuit, but as a meaningful thread in the fabric of my family life. I’m deeply moved by the preciousness of time, by the beauty of our shared inner and outer worlds, and by cultivating a love for art alongside my children. Our creative conversations in paint, in play, in exploration are a profound source of inspiration.
Nature remains my greatest teacher and muse. Its depth of meaning, itsresilience, and its quiet capacity to heal through light, sound, texture, and color continuously shape my work. Whether painting oil blooms that seem to breathe with life, sweeping landscapes that echo with stillness, or abstracts inspired by the patterns and energies of the natural world, I strive for my art to evoke connection, reflection, and renewal.
My hope is that when you experience my work, you feel a gentle invitation — a sense of connection, a moment of healing, and a reminder of the beauty that surrounds and resides within us all.
